enabling audit log entries for time changes is a good idea as it will pick up time changes whatever does it.

Ian,

I think you under-valued Garry's response.
I just never noted the functionality, but I will activate it for sure!!

Garry, please enter the "Martin head covered" thread and I will (ab)use it to give you my appeciation for a very useful, very easy implementable pointer.

Cheers.

Have one on me.

auditing time changes is a good thing, I know - I do it already :-) If Gary comes back more points will be issued.

Re: Let's do the time warp again ! - End of summer time 2004

Although this thread is titled for Summer 2004, so the past DST->STD "warp", I am interested to use it to exchange further experiences for both STD->DST and DST->STD warp and at least for VMS 7.3-2 with latest patch levels (UPDATE V4.0, DNVOSIMUP01, TCPIP_ECO V5.4-154). I have seen recently more troubles with STD->DST warp (+1 hour) than with the DST->STD warp.

forgot to close it :-)

A discussion of this topic would be interesting. The start of summer time this year seemed to pass for most people without trouble.

The end of summer time when the clocks go back is generally more troublesome.
