Re: NFS client mount issues

You're missing the difference between the $1$DGA1009: device device and the DNFS1009: disk device, most likely.

Re: NFS client mount issues

but the mount command created the DNFS1009 device it self . if you see i am giving the device name as $1$DGA1009 in mount command.
so what do i have to do ?

Re: NFS client mount issues

ok I got it !
It doesnt map the actual device with virtual device so I just had to look for the DNFS device created for files:

%TCPIP$DNFSDISMOUNT-S-DISMOUNTED, _DNFS1009:[000000] dismounted
TCPIP> MOUNT $1$DGA1009:[ORACLE9I.TEST] /HOST="dotstodb203"/path="/test" /structure=5
%TCPIP$DNFSMOUNT-S-MOUNTED, /test mounted on _DNFS1009:[ORACLE9I.TEST]
TCPIP> exit
BUGGS$ dir DNFS1009:[ORACLE9I.TEST]

Directory DNFS1009:[ORACLE9I.TEST]
