Node rename, and DECnet Address change and SYS$NODE logical
I have just renamed my DECNET/Plus v7.3-1 node, and given it a new address. The procedure in NET$CONFIUGRE went through with no errors, and said it was successful. But now when I reboot the system the logical SYS$NODE, and SYS$NODE_FULLNAME are not defined. Where to these get set up ? Alternatively how can I fix the problem ?
With regards
Andrew

Re: Node rename, and DECnet Address change and SYS$NODE logical
Best I recall this sort of thing can happen as a result of a broken net$config.dat.
Delete (or rename) sys$specific:[sysexe]NET$CONFIG.DAT and run net$configure again?
(Make sure the SCS name is set up correctly first)
Hein.

Re: Node rename, and DECnet Address change and SYS$NODE logical
just to be sure, check scsnode and scssystemid
in sys$system:modparams.dat.
