OpenVMS 8.2 alpha and Oracle 8.1.7
Hello
I have a customer which is planing to upgrade OS version to 8.2. Must use Oracle 8.1.7 for some time because of some applications.
Question is did someone have any problems with this combination. I know it has been unsupported and also know it is working.
Thanks

Re: OpenVMS 8.2 alpha and Oracle 8.1.7
Vladimir,
according to metalink this combination is desupported because Oracle 8.1.7. is desupported. But it was certified before and it will work. Be sure to use the latest Oracle version being 8.1.7.4.
