OpenVMS and HDLC/ARCNET

I am interested in developing software under AlphaServer/OpenVMS to communicate with an automation controller on an HDLC/SDLC network. The network cabling is RS-485. The protocol is ARCNET based. Can someone confirm that I can use the following products to implement this (and that they are current):

- Compaq X.25 driver V1.6
- Compaq PBXDD-Ax PCI adaptor

I do not want to use any of the DECnet OSI stuff, just direct $qios to the SDLC network.

Also, is there any sort of ARCNET products available for OpenVMS either by HP/Compaq or another provider?
