Hi,
I hot the following message when I tried to install the OpenVMS V8.2 at my rx2600 server:
%DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image INSTALL
-CLI-E-IMGNAME, image file DQA0:[SYS0.SYSCOMMON.][SYSEXE]INSTALL.EXE;1
-SYSTEM-F-DRVERR, fatal drive error
SYSTEM job terminated at 25-APR-2005 14:28:20.62
The Current firmware revisions on the server is:
MP FW : E.03.13
BMC FW : 01.53
EFI FW : 01.22
System FW : 02.31
Please refer to my attached file for more details .
Can you please help me to find what is the necessary steps to be done for proceeding with the installation .
Kind regards,
Emad Omar

Re: OpenVMS IE64 V8.2 Installation at RX2600 Server.
Emad,
We had a bad DVD drive in one of our new rx2600 systems. It didn't even get as far as yours when we tried to boot from DVD media. Perhaps you've run into a bad drive as well.
Or, your media could be bad. Have you booted from this copy of the DVD before? Or do you have another Itanium server you could try it in?
