OpenVMS operating system media

does anyone know how or where I can get a OpenVMS disk operating system disk set? I need the version 8.2 or better for the HP Itanium boxes.

The preferred version here is OpenVMS I64 V8.3-1H1 (V8.2 is old and hardware support is limited and generally not the best choice), and the ordering and related details are included in the OpenVMS are and within the Software Product Description (SPD) stuff, starting here:

You'll be able to get the appropriate part number code.

AFAIK, "public" and hobbyist downloads are not available. There are usually downloads for services customers around, and there are channels for HP partners.
