I have an integrity system running VMS 8.3 and TCP/IP v5.6 eco2. We had setup SSH to work using a public key with a Linux server. It was working fine until a couple days ago. Nothing was changed on the VMS server and I'm checking with the Linux admin to see if anything was changed there.
Now when I do a $ssh I get a $SYSTEM-_F_ACCVIO error and it creates a TCPIP$SSH_SSH2.DMP. This is being attempted from an eXcursion terminal window.
The weird part is this works fine if I do it from a DECnet or telnet login on the same.
Not familiar with troubleshooting SSH issues and was looking for any guidance.

I installed eco3 for TCP/IP v5.6 and this resolved the issue.
Is there a "cookbook" for troubleshooting SSH issues?
Thanks,
Bob

						Bob,
>>>

Nothing that can cope with a crash of the SSH client, AFAIK.
Other than that, increase the debug log level (also of the server, if you can), and examine the logs for error messages.

Martin
