I try to boot OVMS 7.3-2 which is running on a ES47 server which hangs while adding the CPU and doesn't proceed further, see below and advice
P00>> boot
(boot dga1.1002.0.3.1 -flags 0)
block 0 of dga1.1002.0.3.1 is a valid boot block
reading 1143 blocks from dga1.1002.0.3.1
bootstrap code read in
base = f80000, image_start = 0, image_bytes = 8ee00(585216)
initializing HWRPB at 10000
GCT base = 556000
initializing page table at f6a000
initializing machine state
setting affinity to the primary CPU
jumping to bootstrap code

%DECnet-I-LOADED, network base image loaded, version = 05.10.02
%SMP-I-SECMSG, CPU #01 message: START
%SMP-I-CPUTRN, CPU #01 has joined the active set. (System hangs at this stage)
halted CPU 0
CPU 1 is not halted
halt code = 1
operator initiated halt

To get a more verbose output, boot with flags 0,20000 . The command to do this is
P00>> boot -flags 0,20000
This will enable more boot logging, which might help in determining the exact point of hang. Please post the verbose boot log.

						Hi,
try for force a crash, when the system hangs. Press halt button or CTRL-P then >>> crash. You could then boot from CD and look at the crashdump.
Did it ever work ? What changed ?
Volker.
