tcpip$metric only shows one server

I'm trying to load balance our servers using the metric server and load broker. We have two servers and the load broker and metric server is running on both but running TCPIP$METRICVIEW.EXE only shows the one server you run the command on. How do the metric servers communicate with eachother? Why is only one server show up?

Compaq TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V5.3 - ECO 1

on a COMPAQ AlphaServer DS20E 666 MHzP running OpenVMS V7.3-1

The broadcast mask on the interface was set incorrectly. Setting correctly fixed the problem.
