tcpip$snmp account pgflquota requirement

Hi,

My OVMS v7.3-2 Production environment (ES47) with TCPIP v5.4 ECO6 is complaining tcpip$snmp account has less than 10% of the pgflquota.
When I examined the process ID, it was found it refered to the process TCPIP$HR_MIB

The default value of this pgflquota for tcpip$snmp account was 10240, I bumped it to 30,000 and then to the current 60,000 and upgrade my TCPIP v5.4 ECO4 to ECO6.

I was told that the TCPIP ECO patch (i.e. ECO6) will resolve this issue.
Unfortnately it doesn't.

Would you be able to tell what value should be set ?

Are there specific error message(s) associated with the "is complaining tcpip$snmp account has less than 10% of the pgflquota"?

Here are the quota recommendations for TCP/IP Services on OpenVMS I64, which are higher than those of OpenVMS Alpha:

These process quotas will work for OpenVMS Alpha, and are necessary for TCP/IP Services on OpenVMS I64.

What I'd wonder here is if there is a leak; a case where the PGFLQUOTA usage -- and the associated virtual memory usage that typically triggers the PGFLQUOTA requirement -- increases over time, and without bound. The leak won't be resolved with a quota increase. Delayed some, yes. In typical cases, only a periodic restart of SNMP or of TCP/IP Services will work around the error and clear the leakage. The code itself is somehow broken.

And if your statement "I was told that the TCPIP ECO patch (i.e. ECO6) will resolve this issue. Unfortnately it doesn't." refers to something you were told by an HP rep and you've loaded and re-started with ECO6, you'll want to check back with HP here as there appears to (still) be a memory leak within SNMP, or something underneath SNMP.
