Up to date LSE templates for C??
Has anyone ever seen a set of templates for C (including the RTL routines) that is more up to date than the woefully lagging ones I have?
What I have came with LSE V4.8. I also have DEC C V6.5 but I don't believe that newer templates came with it. They sure aren't in SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSHLP.EXAMPLES...], on my system anyway. Missing are the many newer C RTL functions, and any additions or changes to the language itself since V5.0.
If you have something more up to date, can you share it?
Thanks,
Galen

Re: Up to date LSE templates for C??
LSE V4.8 is the current version. I don't think the language templates have been updated for years except for a couple of changes in V4.7

Re: Up to date LSE templates for C??
Too bad! It would be a big job to update it all, or I'd do it myself. (I still may tackle it incrementally as I need to.)
Minor nit, however:
> Version 4.8 is the current version.
My rx2600 has LSE V4.9. But it looks like, apart from IA64 support, the only changes were to the templates for COBOL (updated), JAVA, and HTML (change to installation method).

Re: Up to date LSE templates for C??
LSE V5.0 is in DECset 12.7 which I have not got yet on my alphaservers.
However the release notes say they have the COBOL, JAVA and HTML template changes for alpha as well as Itanium.
C is not mentioned.
