Use of WAN Device Driver with Decnet Phase V
Hello, I try to open a port(with an IO$_CREATE) to a datalink entity set up in Decnet Phase V by NCL Commands.
The function returns 'bad parameter value'.
I don't know which parameter: P1 parameter is datalink "HDLC.HDLC-0.HDLC-0"; P2 parameter is dll$K_PROTOCOLID set to the value 0x0103 like the programm example in doc Wandd Programming.
EveryOne can help me?
My second question is about this value 0x0103 of dll$K_PROTOCOLID?
Thanks for your Help

Re: Use of WAN Device Driver with Decnet Phase V
Demortier,
could you please explain what you're trying to do ?
The value used for dll$k_protocolID seems to just be a 'number' (WORD), which must be the same on both ends of the link (sender and receiver), to allow them to communicate.
Volker.
