Usernames in CSWS

Hi,

In Apache 1.3.26 it is possible to validate users against SYSUAF username/password.
In order to comply with our Auditing rules, I would like to record some statistics of the user session.
However, in search for a way to pick up the connected user's username in the script that is executed I have not found how (yet).
Thought I might as well ask here, with a good chance of a quick answer.

TIA

Re: Usernames in CSWS

The standard way to pass the logged-in username to a CGI script is in the environment variable REMOTE_USER. No idea whether MOD_AUTH_OPENVMS supports this.

Martin,

it is indeed as simple as that.

Don't I I'll soon forget again!

Cheers.

Have one on me.
