VMS lpr printing to HP Laserjet Printers
I have setup several lpr print queues within VMS to print to Windows 2000 printers
The queues work for PDF Writer print queue from both Windows and VMS with no extra parameters.
When printing to a LaserJet 1012 (as an example) from a Windows PC using the lpr command I have to use the "-o L" switch to force binary mode
my question is what parameters do I use to do the same to the print queue lprsetup on VMS ?
or what can I do to the LasetJet to force it to consume text
the prints appear on the queue, then they disappear and no printout appears
thanks in advance

Re: VMS lpr printing to HP Laserjet Printers
Hi,
You could install DCPS (no license required anymore). That has an option called DATA_TYPE. With that you can use differnet kind of protocols etc. Info: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/info/sp4415/sp4415pf.pdf
