VMS V7.3-1/ DECwindows V1.3-0 DECW$SERVER_0 won't run after Graphics ECO 4
Once I did this I was unable to get DECW$SERVER_0 to run. After some research I figured out that the DECW$SERVER_DIX image from Graphics V4.0 was probably at fault.
Back on July 12, 2005 John Santos reported a similar problem over on comp.os.vms that he'd run into this and solved it by restoring the original version of DECW$SERVER_DIX.
I tried this, and sure enough I can get the server process to run now, and I get the usual CDE login screen.
Do any of the HP folks (or other gurus) know what's going wrong when Graphics V4 is installed, and whether John's fix is the best way to get around it?
[I'm also opening another topic for a another DECwindows problem on the same system. It might not be related, but I don't know for certain.]

What happens with V7.3-2?
