Whats is the last best patch available for UCX 4.2 on VAX

I'm running a VAX 4060 running PCM.

ucx>show version
DIGITAL TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS VAX Version V4.2 on a VAXstation 4000-60 running OpenVMS V6.2.

You can see I do not have any ECO kits, Anyone know the last ECO kit available for 4.2 and if there are any issues with it? Anyone have the link to the kit?

HP download center has avaiable only eco for UCX V4.1.

I run a couple of VAX/VMS V6.2 UCX V4.2 ECO 5 systems - they just sit there and work as DNS servers and have done for years.

Do you know the last Security Bulletin which ECO 5 addresses. I searched the readme.txt for Security issues & found a DoS for TFTP and a possible granting of OPER privilege.
Also, can I simply install ECO 5 or must I step through ECO 1-4 before installing 5?

Hi Victor,

You can directly instal ECO 5 .

Anyway , ECO 5 has one issue. If you are running pathworks, then PWRK$KNBDAEMON won't start. Its better if you go for ECO 4 if you are running pathworks.

Lokesh -can you say more about this pwrks problem and ucx v4.2 eco 5. I have some ucx v4.2 systems with pathworks and eco1 and occationally wonder about upgrading to fix occational ftp problems.
