Solution
Hi Luciano,
What happens if you run /usr/bin/X11/dxaccounts from the shell prompt?
What version of Tru64 UNIX are you using. run "sizer -v" will report version info.
A common problem, provided you are logged in as 'root', is that another dxaccounts program is already running or the lock file is orphaned. If your sure no other 'root' user is using dxaccount "Account Manager" GUI, then check for the file /etc/.AM_is_running and try removing it and re-launching Account Manager.
If your logged in as another user, then I suspect the problem is related to dop, Division of Privledge - man dop, subsystem. If that's the case try running the following command and let us know what the error is if it fails.
# /usr/sbin/dop -n x11:accounts
Let us know if that helps,
Dave Bechtold
