alias ip

we have an alias that users use to connect to ds25 frontend. But when one of the ds25 is down, i would like to change the alias to connect users automaticaly to the ds25 which is not down.

You can use this simple script if you don't use cluster services.

You need to do some modifications, like the shell, the host name, the ip address and the network device name.
