Alphaserver CPU Processor Model Number required
Hello,
I have a Alphaserver ES47, a Alphaserver DS25 and Alphasever DS10 all running Tru64 Unix V5.1B.
Can anyone tell me how do I find the CPU Processor Model number in each of these Alphaserver systems?
Thank you

Disassemble the hardware and look?
Or were you seeking:
An SRM console command?
A Tru64 command?
A run-time library function?
I'd probably start with "show config" at the
SRM console prompt (">>>"). My XP1000, for
example, says:
[...]
Processor
DECchip (tm) 21264-3 500MHz

Re: Alphaserver CPU Processor Model Number required
psrinfo -v may provide some helpful information. It will at least distinguish between the architecture types. For example on an ES40:
[...]
The alpha EV6.8AL (21264B) processor operates at 834 MHz,
has a cache size of 8388608 bytes,
and has an alpha internal floating point processor.
While on an ES47:
[...]
The alpha EV7 (21364) processor operates at 1000 MHz,
has a cache size of 1835008 bytes,
and has an alpha internal floating point processor.
