Re: certification
Hi Sunil,
I'm not exactly sure what you are referencing by the name "hpux ( aka enterprise unix )", HP-UX and Tru64 UNIX are Enterprise UNIX scalable operating systems.
The Tru64 UNIX product has a full and rich set of features to support the enterprise, including high availability TruCluster solutions. Please take a look at the product information available on line at http://h30097.www3.hp.com/ .
If you are referring to the Tru64 UNIX futures and transition plans for Tru64 UNIX to HP-UX please take a look at.... http://h30097.www3.hp.com/transition/ .
Hope this helps,
Dave Bechtold

Re: certification
Enterprise Unix is HPUX running on Itanium with ADVFS Filesystem and TruCluster features.
There are plans for transition tools to create a smooth update from Alpha to Itanium.
Tru64 5.1A/B are the last supported versions and will be "upgraded" by 2 additional releases for the new Alpha Hardware. But the long term upgrade strategy rely on HPUX aka Enterprise Unix on Itanium.
