DDR entry needed
I am using a SDLT 160/320 GB External on ES40 Alpha server. After each backup the following message appears multiple times in the messages file.
unmapped scsi density code (0x49) - DDR entry needed
What do I need to do to resolve this?
I have read that the /etc/ddr.dbase needs to be amended, but what entries do I need to make?

Re: DDR entry needed
Hi,
I think you need to make sure this entry is in ddr.base
scsi_tape_density[0x49] = "190000_bpi" 190000 0
check this link for the full overview of ddr density codes,etc.

hope this helps
regards
Matt
