DE600 on Tru64 4.0E

Is there any way (patch or something) to install a DE600 under Tru64 4.0E. We cannot move to 4.0F due application issues.

You may find that it is easier to explain and fix those 'application issues' then it it to backport DE600 support.

Tru64 4.0E is not longer supported.
Tru64 4.0F is the oldest aviable with 'prior version support'. See:

Humor us, and please explain those 'application issues'. What is the application? Does it not work under 4.0F? Has it been attempted? Please give an indication of the failure (if any). I suspect these are are political / organizational issues, not technical?
