Re: error codes in results of uerf command
Hello, the uerf command is not the best tool to do trouble shooting, because the results you have are almost nothing, there you can see practicaly just the O/S startup.
With the ES40 because it is an EV6 generation the most aprpriate tool to analize problems and also send you mails reporting any problem with operating system or hardware is a tool called WEBES there you have a command ca that invoked with certain parameters you can see even the spare part number of the subsytem that is causing the problem.
You can find more information about this tool at:http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/svctools/webes/docs/rn/webes_rn.html

Re: error codes in results of uerf command
the codes are error dependant. If it is a machine check you need assistant from HP (which uses a machine check decoder). If it is a scsi problem have a look into the scsi white papers.
If you are using sys_check you will get
a) the configuration
b) an analysis of a problem
c) a summary of the logs and the error logs itself.
