He is still 6 points away from the golden crown but I just couldn't wait to be the one, who initiated the congrats thread.

Let's congratulate Ralf Puchner for his outstanding performance and for his contributions to the Tru64 forum which show a well rounded experience and knowledge.

His favourate acronym is probably RTFM and he would have been here long before, had he received his points due.

So, Ralf, my congratulations for your golden hat, which really come from heart.

Thanks to all,

as a "king" with official crown it is time to rule...

1. 10 points only for answers which are really helpful. And only once not for every entry (e.g. questions to the poster) made....
(will be a fair indicator of points)

2. search your question in old threads prior to post a new one (improves quality of the answers)

3. every poster must select the right category - this is not a windows installation where pressing "all/general" is always the right choice ;-)

4. read manuals, be sure you understand the functionality of "man" and "apropos". Google is your friend to learn general basics ;-)

5. if answering a question please be specific, tell us the whole error message, the used version and what you have done. My coffee cup is damaged and guessing is not our job....

6. tell everybody to use Tru64 you may help the support staff to keep their jobs in the future ;-)

7. HP is not only a printer company ;-)

Moses brought 10 rules but it seems 7 are enough here in the forum....

Btw. due to fact nobody wants to moderate the forum within the new Tru64 support organization I will be monitoring the forum for a while (or until end of Tru64).

a "click" is not a valid unix command nor an indication for a professional administrator ;-)

the "click" in relation to the "button" submit points leads to an empty page with url doAdmin. White page, no action - it sound like my "job description" ;-)
