gftp connectivity issue
I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on an issue I have. I have a workstation running Tru64 5.1B which will accept ftp connections (xftp) from 5 other workstations running various versions of Tru64. This same workstation fails to work when connecting from Red Hat using gftp. When using gftp from two different workstations I can successfully connect but can not see the contents of the directory. From a terminal I can connect via ftp and view contents but not gftp. If I list the contents twice in gftp I will be disconnected with the following error:
451: Local resource failure: malloc: No such device or address.
I can utilize the same Linux workstation with gftp and connect to another DS10 running Tru64 5.1B without any faults.
Thanks in advance.

Re: gftp connectivity issue
This could be a "passive ftp" issue. Check your gftp settins for passive ftp options.
