Hard error on disk

Hi All
I want to know one thing how many hard error on a disk are acceptable?
And
when I am looking hard error by
hwmgr -g attrib -id
does it give harderror of only one disk which has id as scsi_id .Or it will give the combine error of the complete dg(disk group) of which this disk is associated.
I can see error is in only disk with scsi_id by
volstat -sff
Please clearify this.
