Memory tuning
I have one Itanium server.
50 GB is installed on the server. But Application is using only 16 GB. While running top command it is only showing 16 GB.
Could somebody help me to tune this issue.

>>> I have one Itanium server.
Then your operating system is not Tru64 Unix.
What operating system are you using?
What kind of application?

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: Memory tuning
Ravikant, (or is it Vaishali?),
Welcome to the Tru64 (Alpha chip based) os forum.
As Ivan indicated, you may be in the 'wrong place'. The HPUX forum perhaps? Please check (uname -a?) and replort the OS type as well as version.
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/familyhome.do?familyId=117
Please note that 50GB is an 'odd' amount.
Unlikely to be exact/correct.
Please verify and explain (16+16+16+2 ?)
hth,
Hein.
