Mount network Drive

I installed advanced server for unix and have it up and running. Is there a way to mount network drives using sysman?

Should I ditch ASU and use Samba?

Re: Mount network Drive

Hi Paul,

The network drive should be on the alpha and the client a windows pc. Is this assumption correct? What are you planning to do with it?

Re: Mount network Drive

Yes that is correct. I need to be able to be able navigate to a network drive from a unix prompt ie...//dc-clusterfs/litigation. As it stands now I have domain created on the Alpha and can navigate between Unix and windows from Windows explorer. I am able to copy files up but i would much rather like to leave them where they are and point to them.

Re: Mount network Drive

Hi,

can't you just open them by double clicking on them?
