NIS user enable
Wanted to enable a NIS user on a 4.0x. We have changed the password and now want to enable the user. Since we dont have access to the CDE, wanted to know the way to do that through a CLI.

Re: NIS user enable
Depends somewhat on whether you're running Enhanced or Base security.
First, look at usermod. It will work for both Base and Enhanced Security, but I don't know if it had the functionality you're looking for in V4.0?. See "man usermod" for details.
If you're running Enhanced Security, you can use edauth to modify the database directly. See "man edauth" for info on the command and "man prpasswd" for info on the fields in the Enhanced Security database.
