Proxy server on Digital UNIX V4.0E ?

im searching an proxy server for Digital UNIX V4.0E...

someone got an idea ? (pre-compiled package would be the best :))

If you are very very lucky, you might find one available on an old old version of Internet Express. Try starting here for a description of the contents of the IX CD's:

If you can find a version that will work with V4.0e, you may have problems getting one as anything that old will be archived and will not be in current libraries.

For security reasons, is better if you use a constantly updated proxy server and operating system. 4.0E does not has support any more.

I would recommend the use of Linux (Red Hat/Fedora/CentOS, etc) + Squid proxy server.

i will be the only user of this proxy...i need it only to connect to my OpenVPN server...this vpn is crypted with 1024 bit ssl keys, so i think security isnt the problem :p

so even an old unsecure release will be perfect :p
