RCM -- Remote Console Monitor status available from Tru64 shell?

I have an AS1200 and a DS20E Alpha Server.

They both support RCM -- Remote Console Monitor

By typing ^]^]RCM when connected on the serial console I can see the temperature of the CPU

RCM>status

* Could I get this same information from a Tru64 crontab job, or via SNMP?

* I am reading in the documentation that alarms could be sent via the remote port -- but in those modern times I do not have a modem any more. Could a GSM SMS message be used instead? Or could a trap be sent via SNMP?
