Script for resource monitoring(memory, cpu, disk, swap) on tru64
Hello Guys,
I want to set up an monitoring environment for tru64 where I can monitor the memory , swap, cpu utilization and disk space.
I will need all the data in excel file (csv file) to be genrated with those scipts as this is needed for graphical representation of the utilization to analyze the trend.
Could you please help me with these scripts and what will be the best possible way to implement it .
Regards,
Rik

Re: Script for resource monitoring(memory, cpu, disk, swap) on tru64
Hello Rik,
I think there were 3rd-party products that could do this...like BMC patrol,
You could use collect and collgui, or at least collect to generate the data and then you have to write something and parse it to generate the csv's
collect at least comes with the TRU64 OS (on later versions)
check this out - https://stromasys.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KBP/pages/17039625/Tru64+-+Collecting+performance+data+with+the+collect+utility
see section on Analyzing Data, cfilt can generate csv's
I hope this helps.
Thanks & Regards,
