Subversion client for Tru64 v4.0F?

We'll be needing a subversion client for our Tru64 systems, which are running T64 v4.0F. According to the subversion Web site, prebuilt binaries are not available for Tru64.

Before I struggle through the build process, I was wondering if anyone had any particular advice that would help.
