TOP Utility

Does anyone know where I can acquire TOP for Tru-64 v5.1 please? I did download one version but it experienced problems during compilation. I have also downloaded mutt and that had no problems being installed.

Thanks in advance
Greg

Re: TOP Utility

No offence, but I have searched the HP US site and don't get any replies similar to the utility, and hence the reason I posted the question.

Maybe I don't know yet how to use the search facility since I'm unaccustomed to it but I would appreciate a bit of help.

thanks

Re: TOP Utility

I'm just wondering how complicated it must be to enter the word TOP and select "Tru64 Forum", pressing SEARCH ;-)

Re: TOP Utility

Search hint:
- Look at the top of the page, and hit 'more options'
- Drop down, way down, for Tru64 subset
- tab down for 'subject only' vs 'entire message'.

I think Ralf wants you to find:

If you have multiple cpus, TOP will not work on the ALPHA chip.

Please explain.
"It works for me" (admittedly an eqally useless remark)
Tru64 always and only runs on Alphas.
What exact versions did you have problem with (OS version, tool version).
What exactly is the problem? (does not run? error message?)

hth,
Hein.
