Tru 64 Unix 4.0F on DS25 or DS15 Help!!!

Hi.

Our office is planning to buy a new server, DS 15 or DS 25 and in order to save on the expense, we are planning to use the tru 64 unix on our existing DS 20 since we are retiring the server.

Are there any issues regarding this setup?

Minimum OS version for DS25 is v5.1a, and for DS15 is v5.1b. You can not run v4.0F! However, most applications can be migrated with no big problems.

An upgrade to 5.1b is something you shoud consider. There is no money involved in this.
