TRU64 IP Address changed
Hi All,
Somedays back i changed my IP-Address of the server from a private LAn to corporate LAN.
I am able to access the server from anywhere in the office.
But my problem is right now non of my executables are working.
do chngeing static IP-address effects this
The code is written in C and we use asn1 compiler also

Re: TRU64 IP Address changed
"It doesn't work" is not a useful problem
description.
> do chngeing static IP-address effects this
That just might depend on what "this" is.
What, exactly, are you doing, and what,
exactly, happens when you do it?

Re: TRU64 IP Address changed
Maybe a problem with name resolution? Have you changed the entries en /etc/hosts?
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

>>>non of my executables are working
how u running those executable remotely??
because IP change has nothing to do with executables(as far as I know ;)
If u running remotely you may use IP address because DNS takes some time to reflect entries.
Well as this is late reply may be ur problem has already been resolved.
