ups shutdown sortware

I have heard that there is a universal ups shutdown software for tru64. Where can I get it?

You can also configure a generic UPS on LANSAFE.

thanks for posting, but this is for windows or at least not for tru64 running on alpha servers.

Hi Michael,

It is the same package for Windows and Unix.

You need to download the exe-file and extract it on a Windows system.

Then transfer the files to your Tru64 machine and run the install.sh script.

From the Installation Info:-

Windows:
Run SETUP.EXE from the \LANSAFE\NTAND95 (English) or \LANSAFE\NTAND95J (Japanese) directory.
NetWare:
Load LS3SETUP.NLM from the \LANSAFE\NETWARE directory.
Tru64/OpenServer/UnixWare/Linux:
Run the installation script INSTALL.SH from the base directory in which the expanded files reside.

yes that's what I need.

@Ivan: sorry, I got confused because there were no alphas on the list. If you care, post again and get another three points.

Has anyone written an automatic shutdown script with it? Where is it placed and what is its name? I have searched the doc but could not find anything.

PowerChute plus for Tru64 Unix will be delivered by APC. Another approach is to use "opensource" software.
