ESXi 4 - Forward HP CIM info to a Microsoft System Center Operation Manger 2007 management server
We downloaded the ESXi version 4 install from HP’s site. Where is the appropriate documentation for getting these ESXi hosts working with our HP SIM server? Our real goal is to get the ESXi hosts to forward the HP information to a Microsoft System Center Operation Manger 2007 management server. We have been told this can be accomplished via the HP SIM server, but have not been able to locate any documentation on the process.
Thanks
Thanks

The HPSIM Docs are found by following the Reference Library link from www.hp.com/go/hpsim.
ESXi uses wbem, and in HP SIM you need to subscribe to the wbem events. You may be able to get MS SCOM to subscribe directly, then you wouldn't need HP SIm to do any redirecting.
If you need to get HP SIm to do anything then you'd need to look at Event handling.

Re: ESXi 4 - Forward HP CIM info to a Microsoft System Center Operation Manger 2007 management server
Use the Veeam nWorks product. This ties directly in with OEM hardware providers to and enhances SCOM to be fully ESX aware. Thus within SCOM you get full Microsoft, ESX and hardware health status.
