HP DL360p G8 - Can't install ESXi 5.1

Hello!

We have 3 new HP DL360p G8 server.
And we are trying to install VMWare ESXi 5.1.

If we use the HP custom image ESXi 5.1 (799733):
The installation works fine. After the first reboot, we got the errror message:
Error loading / xorg.v00
Fatal erro: 0 (device error)

If we use the VMWare ESXi 5.1 image:
The installation shows:
No network adapters were detected.

What can we do?

Hi Tom,

The error could be due to a corrupted image installation, try downloading the HP Custom Image once again (always check the md5 checksum before using the downloaded image or file)

Alternatively you can use the VMware's ImageBuilder application and integrating the HP ESXi Offline Bundle for VMware ESXi 5.x version 1.4 and all the drivers as in HP's Custom Image.

Problem solved :-)

We have to install 2xDL360 2xDL380 server. Same error on all machines.
With 4 burned and verified CD / DVDs.

Cause: Take another USB stick and everything works.
