HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 572SFP+ Adapter not recognized

Hello everyone

Into an HPE DL380 Gen10 I installed ESXi 8.0 HPE Customized Image; in this host I have one HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 572SFP+ Adapter (Product Number 789001-001 - Spares 811794-001), but ESXi GUI doesn't recognized it. Checkin by SSH using lspci command on this host I can see this NIC , but nothing more

What can I do to resolve this issues?

Hi Maurizio7,

  1)  DL380 Gen 10 server will support the Esxi 8.0 OS. Refer the link.
  2) HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 572SFP+ Adapter is not listed supporting network adapter for DL380 Gen10.  Refer the link page no.25.
  3) Please update the server using SPP so that the firmware and driver of the installed network adapter will be updated, if supported.  Download SPP from the link.

I checked, and DL380 Gen10 supports ESXi (VmWare) 8.0

I also already update firmware with last SPP for this server

But you're right: this NIC is not supported into my server...  But it's strange because entrering into setup (F9) I can see this adapter, and iLO shows it too. Because of this I has in trouble
