HPE Proliant ML30 Gen10 | VMware vSphere Hypervisor 6.7 | HPE Smart array
Hello,
I acquired a HPE Proliant ML30 server of the new generation 10 (P06781-425).
By default, this server is equipped with a "HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10" software storage controller.
My goal is to configure a RAID 1 on two disks (2 * 1TB) and install VMware vSphere Hypervisor 6.7 Update 2 on the logical disk created by the storage controller (1TB).
But unfortunately, this class S controller only supports Windows systems (does not support VMware).
In order to solve my problem, I need an optional storage controller.
My question is: what is the controller to buy to install VMware vSphere Hypervisor 6.7 Update 2 by configuring a RAID 1 with two 1TB disks.
Thank you !
