I am trying to install the HPE Storage Integration Pack for VMware vCenter, and I've followed the checklist provided in the HPE Storage Integration Pack for VMware vCenter documentation, but I’m running into an issue with the DNS configuration.
The installation process is fine up until the part where I need to ensure that both the vCenter and HPE Storage Integration Pack for VMware vCenter appliance have proper forward and reverse DNS entries configured. I’ve confirmed that my DNS is correctly set up for both systems, but I’m still encountering a certificate authentication problem. Despite both systems being able to communicate with each other, the connection fails due to unverified certificates.
I’ve also ensured that the time is synchronized across all systems, including ESXi hosts. Could this be related to certificate validation issues? How do I resolve the certificate authentication problem to proceed with the installation?
