NPIV'd RDM Devices on RHEL Guest on C7000 Blades
The "HBAs" each Proliant Blade gets on a C7000 Enclosuer with vCOnnect are already NPIV'd.
Can I still do furtehr NPIV'ind byt giving the Virtual Linux guest its NPIV WWIDs via RDM? By this I mean the process used in the following URL:
http://www.brocade.com/downloads/documents/brocade_vmware_technical_briefs/NPIV_ESX4_0_GA-TB-145-01.pdf
Or is this not supported on Blades?
Am I better of using vHBAs - if it is already supported under vSphere 4.1? Or will I have the same issue of NOIV over NPIV since this is a Blade infrastructure?
