2200mx Jukebox
Is it possible to either upgrade/update this library to connect to SAS adapters. If not, can you recommend a pcie based SCSI HBA supported by AIX?

Such libraries are no longer sold since probably 10 years or more ...
Most can be connected using HVD or LVD SCSI, but I have also seen a hp network storage router between.
Such NSR translate SCSI to fibre channel, could be a solution for you ...
