Basic drivers for 7200e?
I have a laptop whose only CD drive is a 7200e. I want to install an operating system on a brand new hard drive. I have a bootable W98 diskette, but the "Boot with CDROM Support" doesn't see the 7200e as it is neither a PCI nor SCSI drive (which is to be expected). How can i make the 7200e visible from the W98 diskette boot? What is the set of necessary driver files and config.sys entries or mscdex arguments necessary? By the way, i don't have the original floppy but do have the original three CDs if that makes any difference. I also have a W98 system for which the drive works, if that helps. Thanks much for any help or pointers!
