CD-Writer 8100 - cannot read disks created with

I recently removed an old HP CD-Writer Plus 8100 from a machine. I also removed all the HP software (Simpletrax I think).

I installed a new drive and Nero 6. I have installed all the Nero software but still cannot read the numerous archive disks written by the HP software.

Anybody got any suggestions.

(I cannot find the HP installation disks any more)
