cdrom driver

Can you tell me where I can locate a driver for a compaq cdrom. I have a 486 with no math co-processor and I have to run win 95 but I lost all software and I cant load the cd with win 98.
The computer is for a seven year old boy and it will suffice for his skills at this point.

I cannot tell from your question if you have an IDE cdrom or a SCSI cdrom so I will answer both questions.
If you have an IDE CDROM, the drive can be found in SP4282.exe
If you have a SCSI cdrom, the driver can be found in SP10751.exe
Either of the Softpaqs can be located from http://www.compaq.com/support/files/allsp.html
