How can I upgrade my Easy CD v3.5c to v4.newest

My 9310i came with Easy CD v3.5c. I want at least 4.01. We purchased a Ricoh CD-Writer about the same time. It came with v4.01 and works better than 3.5c. I installed that version, but it did not recognize my hp cd writer plus 9310i. I went to the Adaptec site. There is no update from 3.x products to 4.x products. Can anyone help?

You have to buy the full version. HP has a limited license.
