HP 7200 Plus CD-Writer and Win XP

I have exactly the same problem as Marco.
I have an internal Hp 7200 Plus, which was running fine, until I installed Windows XP. It hangs on both Nero and HPRecordnow, at the same stages as described by Marco.
Unfortunately, the HP's site (as given by Harry) does not have the supposed required software available for download, and as I do not live in the US, I cannot have it delivered, so it seems.
I'd be grateful if anyone can tell me where I can get hold of the software to enable the Cd-Writer to work properly with XP.

Actually there's a "direct CD" like application built in to XP which works great if you want to put random data files on a CD-R/CD-RW however to use Nero you should get the latest version Nero Burning ROM v 5.5.9.0 which works with XP I was using a semi new version when I went to XP and had all kinds of problems with lockups, and burn problems. Upgrading helped me I hope this helps you... Best of luck to you. if so maybe you could 'HOOK ME UP'
